I was stabbed in my chest in my school over my shoes. After emergency surgery saved my life, I struggle with PTSD. I found healing for myself through Kyler’s Kicks. I collect, clean and donate shoes to those in need, I have given out over 10,000 pairs of shoes, since I was stabbed. I love doing public shoe giveaways and I have also started three Kyler’s Kicks Shoe Closets in Las Vegas schools. These shoe closets continually have 100 brand new pairs of shoes for students in need. I started Kyler’s Kicks to prevent what happened to me from happening to others. Now it has grown into a movement of kindness. When one person donates shoes they don’t need, it gives them a feeling of happiness and joy. As another person receives their much needed shoes, they feel like someone cares and you can see a light return to their eyes.
